It looks great, but probably too expensive for the amount of time you actually use them for. My little guy was in his swing for only 5 months and I kicked myself for spending $250 on ours!
I wanted to love the mamaroo because my little one had a little colic, and I was hoping for any reprieve! Unfortunately, the motion was TOO mechanical, and it made her cry. I returned mine. Most likely, it depends on the child, because I bought a summer infant portable swing (ridiculously ugly and so uncool), and my baby loves that motion much better...
Why is it that all baby companies have to add butterflies, bunnies, and teddybears to all of their products???

I wish I'd known about these things from weeks 2 to 12 with my Baby J! He's not as much of a motion junkie now, but I bet he'd still love it.
